About the project 

The main areas of work covered various aspects of the development and support of children and adolescents:
• Psychological support: individual and group consultations, therapeutic sessions, and art therapy.
• Media literacy: training in critical perception of information and combating disinformation.
• Creative development: craft sessions, theatrical arts, and vocal therapy.
• Financial literacy: teaching the basics of financial management for young people.

  • During wartime, children and adolescents often face a large number of stress factors that can negatively affect their development. The project is an important step in supporting the youth, who are the future of the country. Restoring emotional well-being, developing creative abilities, and skills that will help adapt to new conditions are the main goals of this project.

  • At wartime when children and adolescents face many challenges, including the consequences of war, creating a safe space for their development and emotional support is extremely important. The project "Space for Supporting Children and Adolescents of Kharkiv Oblast" was launched to provide emotional, psychological and social support to the younger generation in wartime conditions. Its task is to provide children and adolescents with the opportunity to recover, develop and express themselves through various classes and consultations that help cope with the consequences of stress and emotional shocks.

  • • More than 5,000 children and adolescents from different parts of Kharkiv oblast were supported.
    • More than 3,000 individual and group psychological consultations were conducted.
    • More than 1,500 educational and recreational activities were organized, which contributed to the improvement of the emotional well-being of the participants.
    • Opportunities for children and adolescents to develop in the areas of creativity, finance and media literacy were expanded.
