About the project 

The "Unbreakable Mom" project is implemented at the initiative of the NGO "Green-Landiya" and is funded by the European Union within the framework of the project "Reducing Harm to the Civilian Population in Ukraine by Strengthening Community-Level Protection and Effective Civil-Military Cooperation". A separate unit of the foreign non-governmental organization "Representative Office of the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC)" provides a grant to the NGO "Green-Landiya" for the opening of the safe space "Unbreakable Mom" in the village of Rohan, Rohan united territorial community, Kharkiv region from July 15, 2024 to November 30, 2024.

  • An important goal of this project is to support the Rohan community in addressing the urgent needs of the civilian population protection based on community priorities and in cooperation with local authorities responsible for population protection.

  • By creating a comfortable space for women with children, the NGO "Green-Landiya" fulfills the tasks of meeting minimum living needs during the escalation of hostilities and power outages, providing the necessary information and social support, increasing access to reliable information about threats, security measures and self-help during hostilities.

  • During the project implementation, the safe space "Unbreakable Mom" was created in the basement of the Rohan village community center on Kultury Street, 60. There, women with children are able to meet minimum living needs, such as feeding and changing their baby, charging their gadgets, preparing a small amount of food, reading useful books, working on a laptop or relaxing and watching an exciting movie. More than 300 community residents have already been able to use the services of the space. In addition, more than 10 information sessions and trainings have been held by professionals from the NGO "Green-Landiya".
